What are you going to read this summer?

Hello!
Tomorrow is my FIRST day of vacation and I'm planning to go to the library to get a stack of new books to read. I am really looking forward to looking at some new picture books, and some nonfiction books.

I brought home 3 chapter books from Plympton library too! I just finished reading Naked Bunyip Dancing by Robert Henrick, which was a funny book about kids in the 6th grade in Australia who have an unusual but wonderful teacher.

I also brought home Just Grace by Charise Harper, which sounds a lot like Clementine, and Alvin Ho, Allergic to Girls, School and Other Scary Things by Lenore Look. This last book was written by the same author as Ruby Lu, Brave and True, which is a great favorite of lots of Plympton kids--so I'm hoping it will be funny.

I'm going camping this week--so I should have lots of time to read. What do you want to read this summer? Let me know!!

Hello Kids (and Parents too!),
